The workshop curriculum and interactive workshop environment is geared toward igniting a sense of urgency to establish savings habits early that will support short-term and long-term goals while planting seeds to build generational wealth.

Our Vision:

To launch a cultural movement with consumers in underserved communities that activates a spirit of intellectual curiosity to acquire knowledge in financial literacy that will provide a foundation for them to live a financially healthy life.

Our Mission:

Encourage and motivate workshop participants to acknowledge the power and importance of financial literacy by delivering interactive and thought-provoking workshops. This recognition will lead to changes in behaviors and habits that will create a culture of savings, responsible debt management, and preservation of excellent FICO scores.

Our Audience:

Target youth and young adults in underserved communities that historically are defined as At-Risk and or disadvantaged populations.

Joe Brooks is a retired senior banking executive and credit counselor. He is a proud alum of Syracuse University with over 25 years of experience in leading high-performance sales and service teams at JP Morgan Chase Bank. During his successful career Joe worked as the first African American credit analyst in the auto finance division where he provided credit dispositions on auto loans and leases for automobiles purchased and leased in the New York, New Jersey metropolitan area. Joe also worked as a District Executive during his tenure with the bank where he led eleven retail bank branches with over 175 employees with deposit and loan balances exceeding 3 billion dollars.

Throughout his career in banking Joe learned the importance of establishing good credit and maintaining a strong credit score. It was through these successful leadership roles at the bank and thousands of enlightening interactions with consumers that led to Joe inspiration in pursuing his entrepreneurial journey of establishing a non-profit business focused on educating consumers through course work on financial literacy.

The primary target audience for our mission are consumers in underserved communities. adult consumers (18-35). The course is taught in an interactive workshop format designed to solicit questions from the audience while delivering content that will provide them with a strong working knowledge of credit and money management.

Financial Literacy Curriculum

All workshops are designed to educate participants on “Building Blocks of Credit & Money Management.” The course is designed to encourage and promote an interactive workshop environment that will give participants the opportunity to ask questions and share their experiences.

Joe Brooks incorporates an agile teaching approach in leading each session that is geared toward igniting curiosity and inspiring participants to change their spending and saving habits. The goal of the workshop is to educate participants on the benefits of spending less, saving more and handling credit responsibly.
